Keri for Activists

Keri for Activists

Keri is a Filipino collective supporting the mental health and wellbeing of social justice defenders. The name “Keri”, comes from the common phrase said by kapwa Filipinos – “keri lang”. Enduring, continuing, and rising from the sociopolitical violence which human rights defenders and communities face every day. Keri supports social justice defenders and activists for free, and offers mental health and psychosocial support, collective care retreats, psychosocial security, training and capacity building, mental health and social justice psychoeducation. Their work is based on decolonizing mental health and psychology, critical human rights-based approach, trauma-informed care, collective and community wellbeing, and expressive arts.
